I will share with you how to setup Nokia E90 to work as a blackberry.

There are 2 methods to do that:

First Method: (Activate your account from your PC)

Requirements:

• Nokia E90 Handheld
• User's PC or laptop
• Blackberry Connect software
• Blackberry Connect Desktop software.

Steps:

• 1- check the software version on your device, enter *#0000#.
• 2- Download proper blackberry connect according to your software version on your mobile see the table below.

• 3- Install Nokia PC suite if not installed on user's PC
• 4- Connect Device to PC and make sure it was discovered by PC Suite.
• 5- Open the BlackBerry Connect installation file.
• 6- Select Yes when asked whether you want to install BlackBerry Connect.
• 7- Select Continue after you read the application information.
• 8- Select Yes when asked whether you want to activate BlackBerry Connect.
• 9- Download BlackBerry Connect Desktop 4.0.0.19 (.zip, 19,3 MB)
• 10- The BlackBerry Connect Desktop application must be used on a computer that is connected to the corporate LAN. If you want to set up your device or create encryption keys, you must also connect your device to the computer with PC Suite.
• 11- Install Blackberry Connect Desktop on the PC
• 12- Click on Configure Wireless Handset
• 13- If prompted, create an encryption key by randomly moving your mouse.
• 14- Click Exit. BlackBerry Connect activates automatically.
• 15- Done

Duration 10-15 minutes max.

Second Method: (Activate your account over the air by using your device)

Requirements:

• Nokia E90 Handheld
• Blackberry Connect software

Steps:

• 1. Steps from 1 - 8 the same as above.
• 2. Make sure that BlackBerry Connect is activated on your device. (Go to Menu > BlackBerry > Settings > Connect. Check that BlackBerry Service is On.
• 3. Select Menu > BlackBerry > Activation.
• 4. Enter the username and password that your system administrator provides.
• 5. The activation process begins and the information from your account on the server is transmitted to your device. You are ready to continue when both the GPRS and BlackBerry icons are visible on the device display.
• 6. Click on Ok, in Activation Completed window.

Duration 10 - forever depending on blackberry server mood.
